There is an invisible Epidemic going on right now -and that has nothing to do with a virus going around and making people sick. It all has to do with what happens to us at an emotional level.
There are always powerful forces at work in our lives. As you live through the years of your life, you are continually experiencing emotions of one sort or another. Human emotions shape us. Emotions powerfully impact life as much as anything else on this planet. Emotions have a profound effect on how we think, behave, on our health, wellness, energy level and overall vitality. Every emotion has its own unique frequency and vibrates this frequency inside of your body and out into the world.
In our life right now, we are facing darker times. We all experience our moments of anxiety, frustration, fear, anger, or even grief with this Corona crises going on. I notice that I get challenged too these days, and I am really thankful that I learned to be connected and aware of my emotional reactions. Over the years I have learned to release my stuck emotions and started living a much healthier and happier live than before. Quantum physics proved that energies affect other energies.
So, if we say that our bodies are made up of energy, the conclusion would be that our bodies are affected by the energy of our emotions!
Do you also feel that you are struggling under the weight of something you cannot quite put your finger on right now? Do you also hassle with your emotions recently? It can cause you to make the wrong assumptions, misinterpret behavior, and even short circuit you’re relationships or you overreact on an innocent remark. Even worse it can create depression, anxiety and panic attacks. In my previous blog on Facebook I said that during the last few weeks many of my patients and clients told me that they were feeling a higher level of anxiety. This week I also heard that some of them are experiencing fatigue, more pain, and started feeling ill. Some of them were thinking they had Corona and got themselves tested out of fear. How does this happen?
Because there is so much fear around this Corona Virus spread in the media and the news, I want to give you all a warning. All of our Amygdala’s are hijacked right now. What does that mean? That means that your emotional brain is running the show without you knowing it. The Amygdala is a collection of cells near the base of the brain. There are two, one in each hemisphere or side of the brain. This is where emotions are given meaning, remembered, and attached to associations and responses to them (emotional memories). The amygdala is considered to be part of the brain’s limbic system. It’s key to how you process strong emotions like fear and pleasure. The Limbic system is a group of interconnected structures located deep within the Brain. It is the part of the Brain that is responsible for behavioral and emotional responses. It is the seat of your Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its the part of the Brain that regulates most of the body’s homeostatic and internal chemical functions. Neuroscientist have not fully agreed yet about the full list of structures that make up the limbic system and a few are generally accepted as part of the group. I now take out only the Amygdala because the amygdala helps coordinate responses to things in your environment, especially, those that trigger an emotional response. This structure plays an important role in fear and anger.
Where do your perceptions come from? They mostly come from the information you have received.
Are you aware of the constant narrative in the news and media? “The Corona virus is a deadly virus”.
Because it is repeated the whole day, 24 hours on all news channels, on social media, we get informed and overwhelmed with worldwide death numbers, and on top of this we are put into quarantine and have to keep social distance, we are all unconsciously, being programmed into fear.
Repetition is a perfect way of mind control. Fear creates more fear and we start thinking in fear and acting out of fear. If this fear gets trapped into your body this will affect your health and will after a while interfere with a proper function of your body’s organs and tissues and wreaking havoc with your physical health.
This is the invisible epidemic going on right now in people all around the world. Conventional medicine will not diagnose these trapped emotions even though this maybe a major causative factor in peoples physical and mental problems for years to come once this Corona crisis is over.

In a groundbreaking book: Molecules of Emotion, Candace Pert Ph.D. provides us with startling and decisive answers to these and other challenging questions that scientist and philosophers have pondered for centuries.
She found out that the chemicals in our body form a dynamic information network, linking the mind and the body. Pert her work put me on the path to understand my feelings and the connection between my body and mind in a way I never heard before. Why do we feel the way we feel? How do our thoughts and emotions affect our health?
The concept of a network showing the interconnectedness of all systems of the organism shifted my whole paradigm on emotions. Mind does not dominate the Body, it becomes the Body. Body and Mind are one. We know that the immune system, like the central nervous system, has memory and the capacity to learn. Thus, could it be said then that intelligence is located not only in the brain but in the cells that are distributed throughout the body?
And that the traditional separation of mental processes, including emotions, from the body is no longer valid? The body is the actual outward manifestation, in physical space, of the mind.

This is influencing how we respond to and experience our world. Her work shows me that we are unified with the physical body in one very intelligent system.
The past 4 years I, have lectured and written about the important role of perception and awareness in mental, emotional and physical health. I am an example of how awareness can transform matter, and create an entirely new body. Pert her work shows us that our bio chemical messengers act with intelligence by communicating information. This transfer of information takes place over a network linking all our systems and organs together mapping conscious and unconscious activities at the same time.
You can look at it like a mobile brain moving through your whole body, Deepak Chopra says in his foreword in her book. This body wide information network is always changing, dynamic and flexible.
It is important in this time of overwhelming information and unconscious manipulation into fear for you to recognize and remove any negative emotion before it causes damage.
My approach to understanding this growing field now known as ‘vibrational healing’ stems from 9 years of personal research in alternative methods of healing after I became very sick. From my earliest years in psychology and working in the clinical field, I already had this sense that there were simpler, less invasive methods of healing mental and emotional wounds. Less invasive then prescribing anti -depressants, or other psychiatric drugs. My own illnesses due to multiple emotional trauma’s, was one of the underlying reasons behind my search to understand the true nature of healing. It is my conclusion now that vibrational healing systems hold the key to extending our current medical knowledge toward an improved understanding, diagnoses and treatment of human ailments. Medical science has done much to investigate the mechanisms behind diseases, physical or mental disease, but it has only recently begun to study the reasons why people stay healthy.
Vibrational healing philosophies have the unique perspective that human beings are more than flesh, blood, proteins, bones, nucleic acids or fats. We are on a quantum level pure energy. This spiritual dimension is an aspect of human nature that is not talked about in the media because it is not taught in medical school and it is therefore not understood by most physicians. This spiritual element has to be taken into account if we truly want to understand the basic nature of health, illness and personal growth. That which I refer to as the spiritual domain is part of a series of higher dimensional energy systems which feed directly into our brain and body. It is this higher subtle energetic anatomy that science has yet to recognize.
There are other higher systems which are parts of our human multidimensional anatomy that have been described by ancient schools of healing throughout the world. So, if we are beings of energy and emotions are made up of energy then it follows that we can be affected by them. Can we consciously change that? Yes, our consciousness can influence the energy fields. Emotions must be dealt with as highly magnetic non- physical matter and an aspect of our consciousness. We have to raise our frequency by elevating our emotions.
More elevated emotions are: love, joy, empathy, compassion, ecstasy, gratitude, kindness and feeling care. These elevated emotions will hold the space for others to come into and shelter, seek refuge, and will help them cross over to feeling safe again, trusting again and above all trust in their own capability to create health.
Ancient healers also had a profound understanding of the power of thought. Your thoughts are also energy and are radiating a frequency. The energy of your thoughts and feelings exerts on other forms of life and on other people. Did you know that your subconscious mind is also aware of negative thoughts that might be harming to you? That the thoughts of others can harm you also? You can learn to detect energy you cannot see. It all depends on how desensitized you are and how your brain is programmed to see. We are fed theories, opinions, perspectives, prejudices, facts and doctrines from the moment we are born.
We all hope that what we learned is based on truth. So, when new information comes to us, it is only natural that our brain is slow in accepting it, since the brain does not want to change at all. It is made to preserve everything, your thoughts, emotions and behavior.
Animals, like horses and dogs will immediately demonstrate this back to you. For 14 years I had a border collie dog. They are highly intelligent and very sensitive and I used to take him a lot into my private praxis. He was always laying in his basket in the corner keeping quit. And I could see on his behavior if a person’s frozen emotions would be released and that they were going to burst into tears soon. Crying is part of opening up the heart wall and just before that happening, he would get up, go to that person, put his head on their lap and stay there. If the person allowed him to be there he would gently go further to the hands and there has not been one patient in all those years that not automatically began to stroke his head in a gentle way and then burst out into tears. Many have cried into him, started talking to him and telling him the things that were on their heart and he stayed till the energy totally calmed down. He, took it all in, in a very patient and gentle way. After, the energy release he would lay down at their feet and all the time when he got up and walked to his corner the session was over or close to coming to an end.
My children and myself and a few patients cried for days when he died last year.
New information requires for us to make changes in our thinking and certainly if it goes against what we have been thought to be the truth, it can be very hard to accept it.

Dear Anouk, thank you for this post. The explanation about how emotions of others affect us was importent for me. I experienced this myself but was never sure if it really could be true. At the moment I experience anxiety as well. Although I am not an fearful person. I experienced a profound anxiety for 2 days about my future survival, like never before and I thought this is not my emotion, I am not like that. And the only explanation for me was that this was the emotion of my boss who is worried in this crisis about his business. When I started to focus consiously on myself and tried to connect back to my inner self the anxiety went away. I also watch no more news because here too I started to feel a fear that is not me.
Now I know that it is not just my own explanation but science and acient wisdom.

But still, each time i get to see it from a slightly new perspective it adds one more piece to my personal “healing puzzle” , which i’m working on so desperately.
